The 36th annual meeting of Portuguese society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology surgeons took place last month at the Alfândega Congress Center, in Oporto.
Located in the historic city centre of Oporto, this unique building hosted the orthopaedic specialists for the second year and the event was a success.
With the main theme “Infections in arthroplasty”, this national congress brought together a panel of national and international experts.
Addressing the challenges, diagnosis, pharmacological and surgical treatment of several orthopaedic pathologies, as the periprosthetic infections for example, the discussions were very productive and from the educational perspective, they were very interesting.
